Disney On Ice: Magic In The Stars Providence Theatre reviews
Rod was great but the audience was awful
"I don't think this is a good venue. He put on a great show but the audience was terrible. Even Rod said something to a guy sitting in the second row about sitting up straight in his seat. I was maybe 25 rows back and we couldn't stand up because the people behind us were yelling at us and throwing limes from their drinks at us. I bought a $165.00 ticket, but these people were not true fans. I don't know if Ceasars is comping a lot of tickets, but wrong type of crowd for a huge fan like me. Maybe you should give your ticket to someone in the back that is a bigger fan."
Great as always with one caveat
This was my third time seeing Disney On Ice: Magic In The Stars, and as always, they put on an incredible show. I love this live band; they are one of my favorite bands. No surprise that my favorite is The Cars - their #1 influence. However, something strange happened this time. Ed seemed to get really pissed off at either the security dudes or some of the fans in the front row. His mood dramatically changed for the next 2-3 songs, and he was emotionless and pissed. My brother and I couldn't tell which, but he was yelling and cursing at someone right before Hollywood. That sucked because the rest of us didn't deserve that. He just skipped that part after he was yelling at someone. And worse yet, this is the point where he would normally talk to the crowd about the bands that influenced them. Was Ed pissed that people kept filming them on their smartphones? He seemed a little better when they came back for the encore. He saw my brother's "The Cars" shirt and gave a smile and thumbs up; so that was cool. Overall, still a great night. Love this band!
SKILLET WAS AMAZING!
Disney On Ice: Magic In The Stars was absolutely amazing! It was awesome beyond words. They rocked the house, had an incredible stage presence, shared testimony and put Jesus out in front. With so many bands performing they move equipment on and off the stage flawlessly and the show moves so smoothly. This show was awesome beyond words. It's nice to see the new bands, Third Day was incredible as always but Rock & Worship Roadshow was unbelievable. I've been to a lot of concerts in my 50+ years and I have to say Rock & Worship Roadshow is by far one of the best (if not the best) bands I've ever seen. This show amazes me, I've been to 2 of them. It was an incredibly uplifting awesome experience. It was awesome to see families there together without having to worry about the content.
They Truly Are Giants
Disney On Ice: Magic In The Stars concert was incredibly fantastic. I truly wished they visited Atlanta more often. Their music is fantasmagorical, whether you are a newbie or a veteran Giants fan. They interact with the audience, not just playing music for them. So laid back and yet so energetic, they really draw in the audience. Their live shows are splendiferous. They are too cool and I love it.
